Tried the search but all I get is an error message!
Just had the battery replaced in my Tag and need it re-sealing, can I take it to a local Tag dealer or will the watch need to be sent off somewhere?

Some jewellers will do it for you. Most have to send direct to TAG

Thanks, the shop that replaced the battery said the cost is around £60! surely that can't be right?

The actual resealing (assuming new watch in good condition) isn't too costly, but the equipment for water testing can cost anything from ~£400-£4000, and (in the very worse nightmare case scenarios) can lead to water entering the case if the watch fails a wet test and the operator isn't quick enough.

So I'd imagine the cost is probably some kind of average risk/expense/profit equasion. Although I'm just guessing. If you have all the gear it shouldn't take ten mins.
