Me and some friends are off to the ring next weekend, does anyone know where the Piston Klaus restaurant is? We're staying in the Dorint hotel with a view onto the GP Track is there any other good restaurants to try?

Correct just passed the BMW workshop it is set back from the road though down a small street called Kirchweg HotelAm Tiergarten.

When I went some time back they arranged snacks and the big telly upstairs so we could enjoy the formula one no cost or hassle, really nice place and the waitresses(sp) are normally lovely but they don't expect a tip of course being english I could not help myself.

It's a hotel at the front, restaurant around the back.

Go there after you've been out for TF, Jochen from Frozenspeed will probably be in with a laptop in the corner near the bar, and more than likely he'll have some pictures of you.

As already said, it is directly under Hotel Am-Tiergarten.

Only if it's a race week-end, but I would do anyway for it's a popular place.

Last time I was there was for the LMS 1000km weekend. We tried to book, but the chap on the phone was busy and didn't speak very good English. We turned up at around 8ish, and were plonked on the end of a table of mixed French/German guys.
My limited French and liberal quantities of Weissbier got me chatting to the bloke next to me, and it turns out they were the Peugeot pit crew, with a few local BMW guys that they knew who had invited them down. The chap was telling me (I think) that he was in charge of the airgun that weekend. I got him to sign my Peugeot Sport hat.
