Just thought i'd share my latest ride....she's a 73 trans am bull nose with the 455 (7.4L). I know it wont be to everyones taste but I have always loved 2nd gen trans am's having had a couple of rough z28's in the past. Had the opportunity to buy it last month, was skeptical as i've had a few american cars of this era and they can rust but this one upon close inspection was as new and all numbers matching! she was bought from a company called best of automotive in the states and has now been all registered/taxed/sva'd and drives and sounds awesome! i'm getting married in 6 weeks so very much looking forward to leaving the church in one of my childhood dream cars!

Here's a couple of pics and also the sales video from best of show if anyones interested!

cheers!!

Gorgeous looking car - keep your Maseratis and Italian rubbish, I'll have one of these cloud9 - love the bullnose big cube birds esp the 455SD.

Hopefully not leaving church in 'Thunderbolt and Lightfoot' style though.....! smile

Thought it was time for a quick update....the old girl hasn't been getting much use this year for one reason or another but the paint on the engine was faded so I thought a good project would be to paint it in a fresh coat of factory powder blue.....turned out very nice indeed!

and going back in.....

Mot on tuesday morning....fingers crossed.....

Lovely motor.

Incidentally, how much did it cost on top of the purchase price to get it on your drive, ready to go?
