How to get all phone contacts off a Nokia and onto iPhone 4?
Discussion
Is there such a thing as a micro-sim to full size SIM adapter?
Maybe I could put the micro Sim into an adapter and put it into the Nokia - copy all the contacts onto the micro-sim - then put the micro-sim back into the iPhone? Will the iPhone be able to read the SIM and pull all the contacts across???
Thoughts?

The SIM only stores the basics of the contacts - name and one number per contact. The Nokia (and most mobiles) can store the name, along with name/company/mobile/business contact/home/date of birth/inside leg measurements, etc.Maybe I could put the micro Sim into an adapter and put it into the Nokia - copy all the contacts onto the micro-sim - then put the micro-sim back into the iPhone? The only way I've been able to get the full details across without messing on the PC is via bluetooth - while the Nokia will happily send the whole address book via bluetooth, I'm not sure all other phones will accept such an incoming connection (neither WM or SE phones used to).
So I'd suggest its either bluetooth (and pray) or sync your current phone to the Windows address book (or outlook or some other service), and then sync back when you get the iPhone.

Hi, Its really very simple. I could transfer all contact details from my 5 year old nokia 6600 to iphone4. You need to get the iphone4 micro SIM adapter from the O2 shop. Its free. I got mine when I bought the iphone4 on Thursday 24-Jun-2010.
Please proceed as follows. Use the key provided with your iphone4 to press in SIM card holder hole. Remove micro SIM iphone4 and fit in adapter. Insert the SIM into your Nokia Phone. On your Nokia mobile,go to
Menu > Contacts > Options > Mark/Unmark > Mark all > Options > Copy to SIM direct
This will start copying of Nokia Phone Contacts into your SIM card. Once it is finished copying, Insert this SIM card back into the Apple iPhone4.
On Apple iPhone4 go to
Home > Settings > Mail,Contacts,Calendar > Import SIM Contacts
Your iPhone4 will copy all the contacts on the SIM that you have put on it from Nokia mobile.
Done in a few minutes. Its's really very simple and quick. pratiktbose

Can your Nokia be attached to your computer by a USB cable? If so, the Nokia software should allow you to 'export' your contacts as a CSV file (or other flavour). itunes can then import that data via Google, Yahoo or whatever....
The latest version of the nokia ovi software has removed any contact exporting! However if you have outlook, you can go into the ovi options and opt to sync contacts with outlook, and also do the same in iTunes, which should work

Crazy of the Nokia software to omit (presumably deliberately to persuade people to keep with Nokia).
Bluetooth is a good idea - select all contacts and send via bluetooth. I did this a while back with a 1200 contact address book. Worked fine but I had to hit 'OK to accept?' every 6 contacts or so.
