FOS who are you guys going with?

I have tickets for Thursday, and currently looking for a Friday ticket.. Anyone I could head over with is working or just isn't really interested enough to go.

I'd be coming from Northern Ireland, and flying/driving over just for the FOS and then back again..

I'm not sure how I'd feel doing the trip on my own though.. Are you guys heading with other people/OH etc?

Hi there,

I have been for the last two years on my own and had a great time. You can go where you want, see what you want, eat when you want etc.

This year I am taking my wife and 16 year old son. Will I enjoy it more, not sure yet. Ask me again on Sunday night !

Prefer to be a lone wolf - there is SO much to see and do I like to travel fast and on a whim, don't want to be encumbered by chat. Meeting up for lunch is fine to compare notes, then off into the jungle again.....

(Not sure if there are wolves in a jungle but you get the idea....!)

I'm going on my own Thursday, Friday and Saturday so I can spend time taking photos, looking at all the trade stands etc. Then on Sunday I'm taking the wife and little one so they can enjoy the day without having to wait around for me to finish whatever I'm doing. I can smell those burger vans already !

Thursday and Friday with my mate, Saturday wife and sprog in tow, Sunday on my own to get all the bits I didn't on the pevious 3 days

thursday friday sunday on my own wife coming on saturday...well it is her birthday so the oakley merchandise store might take a bit of a hammering.
think im gonna ask to change the dates to avoid her birthday and the revival is on our wedding anniversary..beayt that!!

also going on my own again this year. It makes life much easier going on your own. That said, you usually end up meeting lots of different people during the day, lots of different conversations etc so its certainly not a lonely day

i'm going on my own as well. got a ticket for thursday & thanks to a very generous feloow pistonheader i have now got a ticket for friday as well.

my only problem is that i cant find any accomodation within a 30 mile radius so i have no idea what to do with myself tomorrow night.

i dont know the area at all so has anyone got any suggestions as it looks like i will have to sleep in my car. i dont want to spend all night in a pub for obvious reasons.

suggestions please.
