FOS Friday what time to get there?
Discussion
I am bringing my 4 year old lad with me on Friday and we are coming from Stevenage. I am thinking it might be best to leave at 8.30am and miss the worst of the traffic arriving at about 11am.
Am I right in saying there is plenty going on until late, say 5pm on a Friday. If so we will leave late and miss the worst of the traffic again.

(Obviously I make no guarantees here, but....)Am I right in saying there is plenty going on until late, say 5pm on a Friday. If so we will leave late and miss the worst of the traffic again.
Yes,
I did this one year on a Friday and this should work out well for you, 11 is quite a good time to miss the traffic (though as other have said the roads glose to GW can be a nightmare with or without GFoS!)-so long as you dont mind a long walk fron the back of the car parks to the show
And yes, action goes on until late so watch it all then wander and leave late

I'll be there at 6:30 Friday, miss the traffic and see all the cars close up .
Yes, me to. I always get there early....you get a good view of the cars etc in the pits before the mass crowds arrive! I know you have a 4 year old however, I would recomend getting there earlier than 11am as it will be very busy then.
If he is anything like my little'n, he will be up early anyway!!
