Guys, we are exhibiting, all a bit of a last minute rush.

Guess what, we have now decided, at this late stage, we need to stay in the area.

Can any one help???????????????????

I would say you have little or no chance, my dad is down for the Festival, he booked up somewhere to stay months ago and the closest he could find at the time was Fareham.

Camping maybe ?

As above, you will damn lucky to find somewhere now. We provisionally booked ours based upon the dates in July last year.

I had a lady call me back yesterday from a B&B but I had already found another location. I think she had a space or two.

She was from the Old Vine in on Hayling Island. 02392 462543. I stayed there last year and it was perfectly nice, with nice owner.

HTH someone.

There are a few b&b's and hotels in the bognor area that may have spaces, only 15 mins drive from Goodwood. Also the Halnaker Arms pub, 10 mins walk from the festival of speed allows camping in its back garden. It was a tenner a night last year and they have Leffe on tap!!

Thank you to all who responded.

The lucky chaps have found a new friend who is going to put them up.

1st night went well, but by all accounts, the local beer they consumed, and lots of it, left them with a sore arse in the morning................and teeth marks on the head-board............

I know this is extremely late but is there accommodation available anywhere on Saturday. Or I could go for a day either tomorrow or Sunday but the earliest I can get there by annoying National Rail is at 1001 tomorrow or 1057 on Sunday. Oh, and yes I don't have a car even though I pursue Automobile Engineering but what should one do when an MX-5 is so difficult to insure redface

So should I go to Goodwood on Saturday or Sunday ? A reply would be very much appreciated.
