Great snap of a not so great finish to the second race at Brands just gone.

what is si about the 750mc and driving standards, all their tin top championships end up like dodgems.

is it down the characters that go budget motor racing, or is the club incapable/unable to police them.

Can't vouch for the other series but the MR2 Champ does have it's fair share of panel rubbing. In it's defence, last year there were no red flags during the whole season. As a novice then, I got through in the midfield not having to replace any panels in 12 races.

Brands seems to be our nemisis, it was pretty raged last year too. We get a pre-race briefing at the next race as we did last year. One can't help thinking that a pre-race briefing before Brands might have given a different outcome.

Everyone is dead keen to do their best though, and the mix of veterans and 'lots' of novices (perhaps as a result of a very exciting and clean season last year), means that there are vast differences is race techniques and stds.

Both 750 and our coordinator have taken the resent suggestions of dodgy stds very seriously, and I'm sure after their guidance the rest of the season will go as well as the last did.

So did it stay right side up?

Hopefully not to much damage and no injuries!

It did indeed - here it is viewed from another angle (photo credit Michelle Topp):

No-one injured, but I don't know what the damage to the black car was. Just bent suspension hopefully. The black and orange car is one of our hire cars. Although it's repairable it's likely that we'll re-shell it.

Is the no. 48 car going forwards or backwards in that pic?

There are tyre marks ahead of the front wheels, which make it look like it is re-joining the fray, but in reverse. Or are the tyre marks remnants from an earlier off?
