Another pic request - 205 T16

Did anyone see if this car ran on the rally stage, and if so did you manage to get piccies? We were up at the rally stage Sat afternoon and no sign of it running. It was probably the one car I would have most liked to have seen driving...

It must have gone out for a run between 11 and 12 on Saturday morning as well. It was moving towards the start when I left the stage (shame leaving when T16 due I know), which was about 11.

me too, really wanted to see a quattro going for it, but the stratos probably made up for it

The stratos did "nearly" make up for it though. Oh the noise....

Would love to see it if you could post when you get home. Indeed, I also think it is probably my favourite car.

My Dad worked for Peugeot and when the T16's were being campaigned was friendly with the guys in the competitions dept. He brought home the road going T16 on numerous occasions. As a 10 year old, it was sooo sooo cool. I even got to drive, well steer anyway as a few big fellows pushed, a full rally spec E2 T16 in to the motor show when they were setting up the stand before the show - again i must have been between 8 and 12 and it was the coolest thing i had ever done!!!!

I think it is a bit of nostalgia but would have loved to have seen it run. Glad the guy was gunning it!

I've got a couple of good ones of it on the forest stage with the sun beaming in and creating some nice rays in the dust. I'll post them when I get home

I have no idea why I had such a fast shutter speed in such a dark forest. Second photo was a throw away snap so please excuse its general poor quality.

ETA: Anyone else feel like there were more trees in that forest than last year somehow? Nightmare! And don't get me started on those wooden poles next to the hill climb (I realise they are probably there for a reason).

The photo seems to have lost some of the crispness when uploading and resizing, but this is probably my favourite picture from the show.
