Did anybody actually enjoy it?
Discussion
It seems from reading all the posts here that huge numbers of people didn't enjoy themselves that much.
Without wishing to upset people (tattoo haters included!) I have to say I really enjoyed the weekend and I have been to every day of every one since '93.
The weather was great, cars excellent (Lotus 38, Masser 250 V12, Panamericana C-Type my favourites) and everybody I met and spoke to were fine and relishing being in a great atmosphere.
I would be interested to hear if there are others like me out there?

Yep we had a great time, 4 of us, none had ever been before so were unsure what to expect. Thanks to everyone involved with organising it and thanks to everyone who took their precious cars/bikes along for us all to ogle!
We arrived at 7am, and left at about 7:30pm and didnt even realise there was a supercar paddock and stuff by the house!!!! We were too busy looking at everything else. We thought beforehand it was pretty pricey for a ticket but the amount to do meant we were never bored and for 12.5 hours of entertainment £50 seems like good value to me!
If i had to drive a car home from the show it would have been the 8c, just stunning. Race cars i liked the maserati 250 and some of the old ferraris. But i also loved the mclaren F1 car that Button drove up the hill on the Saturday, they were the style i used to watch with my Dad when growing up and getting up early to watch Australian GP's etc.... Bike of the show would have to be Capirossi's Desmosedici, i know there were lovely old ones all around it and the Cagiva C591 was pushing it hard for bike of the show but the 990cc Motogp bikes were just awesome!
So all in all we ended up hot, dusty and smelly but loved it and will probably definitely be going back next year. And i reckon i'll treat my Dad to a ticket too!

6th year running for me. Took my BinL (his 2nd visit and not particularly a PH) on Friday and had a magnificent time. Went alone on Saturday and thought the Biasion show (posted elsewhere) and Meeke v Loix were fantastic.
Even though the Times freebies will probably have dried up next year I will still go at least 2 days
I love the Revival but that is as different an event as the Ypres Rally was a fortnight ago. I was really pleased to get Bjorn W to sign a pic of him from the week before at Ypres, he enthusiastically showed it to his passenger.
Remember a vocal minority is still a minority, I can remeber when Cod and Chips was half a crown - Why have chip shops gone downhill, must be the clientelle

I enjoyed it...
Highlights =
- Getting in at 06:10 with my dad without anyone stopping us and having the place to ourselfs
- The rally stage, with the 205 T16 in particular
- 2005 ducati motoGP bike
- the morning F1 and supercar runs when hardly anyone was there
Lowlights =
- £6.80 for an organic burger
- The tractor drivers standing chatting for ages so my dad missed the WRC hill climb and red arrows
- The dust on the tractor ride which gave my eyes grief and infection this past week.

Yep,
had a fantastic time
Two firsts for me - first time I've been to (in this years case!) all 4 days and the first time as a GRRC member in the Kinrara
Absolutely loved the atmosphere, key sights for me (in no particular order) :
Vulcan
Chris Evans Ferrari collection (LOVE the superamerica!)
Getting up close to Dougie Lampkin doing the stunts (well done to the Goodwood girls!)
And so much more...........
Managed to stay very close to Goodwood so the only time I saw traffic was at the car park itself! (though note to self: make sure you go to the correct car park for ALL 4 days, not just the 1 next year)

yes had a great time - this is the first time I went to all of the days (some with the kids and some time with my mates) and could still not get enough (however this did include Sat where we did not arrive until 4pm as my one of my mates needed some medical work up in St Richards after having been knocked off his push bike in Lavant....ouch).
Thu was a bit like the Fri of old- could get a really good look round at all the cars and displays - very relaxed atmosphere. Weekend was very busy, as usual. The event itself I thought was spot on with a couple of plus points over last year or two -traffic control was the best I have experienced, was able to come in and out no problem and it was nice not to be bombarded with megaphone "messages from the sponsor" . The Vulcan, burn-outs all the way up the hill, cadzilla n't northerner ont trial bike were outstanding for me......

On the whole yes, even if I got knocked a bit too much with people photographing on their iPhones.
While I am panning, along with not letting me get some shots due to there arms. However I am not taking a chance next year, with the sun.
Seeing how I got sunburned on day 1, which meant I had to cancel my day 2 visit.

After meaning to go for many years , a pal of mine got a call from Goodwood to enter 2 cars in the show. They threw in Tickets and some passes for sponsors stand and GRRC. Most importantly we got to camp in the exhibitors camping ground . We had a great time.
Highlight had to be we got on site Wed pm to set up and had completely free access to roam the site from then on with minimal restrictions. Meeting Ken Block soon after he arrived at 11pm on Wed night was good. Being the only person in the F1 paddock. I was astounded at the freedom you had if you were still on site after the gates were shut.
