2010 Goodwood FOS on TV

Recieved a Goodwood e-mail with this years festival footage

So for those interested these are the times the programme will be on normal freeview TV

The hour long Festival of Speed programme is scheduled to be shown on the following dates:

ITV4 - Mon 12 July, 20:00
ITV1 - Tues 13 July, 00:35
ITV4 - Sun 18 July, 16:30
ITV4 - Sun 8 Aug, 18:00

Watched 10 mins and turned it off, what a load of rubbish presented by people who neither seem to know or care about cars

Take an epic 3 day event and then make it into that tripe

I agree with the comment about the presenters - Matt Dawson - rugby player, part time cook and all round clever dick - pah! It was a brilliant FOS this year - perhaps lacked the showstoppers of the past and fewer cars seem to do timed runs - but the ITV4 coverage was very poor. I can't help thinking that the SKY coverage on Sunday may have something to do with it. Guess I'll have to buy the DVD - as long as Dawson and Samos are not in it.

that program did nothing to promote the event of give a true feeling for it, the electric car going up the hill whats that all about ? be better shown the 360's spinning renault 5

ITV NEVER do the FOS justice.

The DVD is the way to go - at least, it has been in past years - often fronted by true petrol heads (and racing history gurus) like Alain de Cadanet and Doug Nye.

Agreed - thought programme was rubbish - will get the dvd as well
