Done the Brecons - now what??
Discussion
So I've done the Brecon Beacons a few times now and think I've covered all of its awesomeness! I've got the weekend off next weekend (24th-25th) and I'm looking to get away for another driving weekend!
I'm coming from the south coast in Dorset and don't want to be much further than a couple of hundred miles.
Do I head back up to the Brecons, or is there somewhere else worth visiting?

Dartmoor? Exmoor? Cornish/Devon coastal roads (need to be early)?I'm coming from the south coast in Dorset and don't want to be much further than a couple of hundred miles.

I'd second Dartmoor or Exmoor if you want somewhere localish. Either can be fun out of season (which, granted, July isn't particularly) or for a bit of a dawn raid.
If you're on the east side of Dorset I can recommend Zig Zag Hill and the surrounding area - it doesn't have the "impossible to pick a bad one" array of roads that you get in, say, the Yorkshire Dales or the Brecon Beacons, but the hill itself is worth a trip to say you've done Britain's twistiest road if you're local-ish and the roads to and from it are better than average.
