Hi,

Does anyone know if a car will fail the ITV for having the engine management light on? I know it will fail for an airbag or ABS light, and rightly so, but not sure about the engine light. Emissions are fine and the light is only on due to a small mapping error.

I cant find the ITV inspection manual online. Anyone know if it is available to download?

Stick a bit of tape over it, and act like stupid Johnny foregner. They'll rush you through to get rid of you. Especially now it's as hot as hell!

Well apparently its not a fail to have the EMS light on. Everything passed ok, except the fact that I don’t have a rear fog light. At one stage there were 5 testers looking for the elusive switch, that doesn’t exist
Now I have to retrofit fog light switch.
