What is the difference between them apart from the prices?

The non-genuine panels are copies of the original and are rarely perfect copies. I have a pair of scuttle repair panels to fit, and not only do they not perfectly match the original panel, they don't actually match each other. I'm not sure the saving is worth it.

Always use genuine panels whenever possible.
The pattern onse vary from quite good to almost bloody useless, and you never know what you've got until you come to try to fit the pattern ones.
The saving is just not worthwhile, especially when the labour and paint costs will dwarf the actual panel cost.
