8 pulse tranducer

I need an 8 pulse transducer which are now discontinued. Part number DRC 8172 anyone here help? Also what size are the wheel nuts on the V8s?

That will not fit. Looking at reconditioning.

Ok, if it looks like the one below, it appears to have a plastic cap that has been crimped in place. Any reconditioning will require the crimp to be opened carefully or just cut off, so you could do that step yourself and see what you're up against. My guess is that it is full of oil due to a failed o ring between the shaft and housing. If so, wash the oil out with solvent cleaner, replace the o ring and re-seal the plastic in with some 2 part epoxy. There is probably just one coil in there and a reluctor wheel with 8 spokes. Check the coil has continuity before sealing it all back up, and if it has an open circuit it shouldn't be hard to find the break.
