Sent an email to an on-line vendor enquiring about an overdue delivery.

They responded apologetically, saying that their supplier (a national chain of merchants) have said they have a problem getting to my address for the delivery.

Really?

We had a vehicle transporter here a few weeks ago, wtf do they use for their deliveries then??

If you're gonna lie, at least make a bit of effort.

Tossers.

What are they meant to be delivering?

I've delivered kitchens in an 18 tonne lorry to some pretty inaccessible places.

If they want to deliver it, they'll find a way.

Exactly. It's just some plumbing stuff, couple of lengths of 15mm pipe & fittings.

My guess is that they can't be arsed. Not my problem though, I've already paid for it.

You're right of course.

The vendor has said they will deliver next week.
