Nurburgring trip

Just recently returned from my first trip to Nurburgring with my 14 year old son. Obviously, the `ring is superb, goes without saying. But one other thing that stands out about the journey is how wonderful to drive on the roads in Europe, how disciplined other drivers seem to be. No hogging the outside lane, even using the inside lane when it`s empty!!! What a contrast travelling home northwards on the A1..... "Mister white boxvan-man" travelling at 70m.p.h in the outside lane of the two lane section for FIFTEEN MILES....!!!! There was no way he was going to pull over to let any of the convoy behind him pass.. Anyway, if you`ve never done the `ring before, do it.

I simply have to get back to do it. My sticker went off with the mk1 Octy, and I NEED one for the mk2. I echo what you are saying about the continent, the majority of drivers show consideration for all other road users, whereas the majority over here seem to have no interest in driving enjoyment at all, and less inclinatio nto be courteous.
