Dell Dimension 5100 Power Supply

Appears as though the power supply on my Dimension 5100 has given up the ghost.
The LED on the motherboard is illuminated when the computer is plugged in, however pressing the 'on switch' gives no response whatsoever.
Old computer to be fair but I'm certainly too cheap to be buying a new one. It manages to run XP and the applications I require with no issues.
Regarding the power supply - anyone knows which Dell models share the same power supply? Is it one generic fit? Are they compatible between brands (like RAM?).
