Goodwood Photo competition????

Yes I know there is a photo section on Pistonheads but it struck me that there are a lot of toggers out there who haunt this section and many discussions which revolve around photos. So how about a regular Goodwood photo competition here each month run along the same lines as the regular monthly photo comp in the photo section - winner chooses the theme and judges at the end of the month. There are loads of subjects - St Mary's trophy, breakfast club, Style et Lux, air displays etc so no worries there and I know there is the talent too. And givent that Goodwood binds a lot of us together here but not neccesarily elsewhere what do people think? Just an idea...
How about 'your best action shot from the hill climb at the Festival of Speed' and to make it more accessible the photo can be from any year at the Festival. One photo per entrant, to be judged on the 1st of the month, winner to then choose the following months theme from any Goodwood motoring event (Revival, track days, festival, GRRC etc). Winner will then judge on the 1st of the next month. So if your up for it please enter your photos here.

Racing Green doesn't have to pick a rally stage photo does he?, i posted as i thought we were going to do the FoS in general. Photo deleted of the Skoda, maybe another month will be the rally stage. As this is the first one (maybe the only one?) of a monthly competition let me confirm that for this month it is action photos from the actual hillclimb ie cars going up the hill. I won't worry about pics not on topic as I don't have to judge them but I am not worrying about them being there either. So to conclude I will pick a winner from all the entries for the subject mentioned on 1st September and let you know then the winner can then choose their own Goodwood subject such as the rally stage, Revival, breakfast club etc. They can then start a new topic entitled 'Goodwood photo competition September', simples! Carry on all, this could be fun
