Checked the search but it is down.

I am looking at this for a week in September for a break and was wondering if anybody had been before. If not, I am open to any advise on a couples only holiday anywhere nice and hot.

Cheers

Hi there TheD,
my wife and I went there for our honeymoon! biggrin

Then, because of the bombing's in Sharm a few years ago, we went back there instead. So, yeah it was nice. The food was good, the entertainment wasn't too bad. The pool gets most use as the beach is a short walk down the hill-side. There's a much larger Sandy beach in Coral Bay, which is just aaround the corner, 10 minute walk away.

Of the excursions, do the Jeep Safari one, it's good fun. Also, go to Nicosia, the only divided city in the world now I believe.

Let me know how it goes and if you want any more info, feel free to e-mail me. Though, be aware, my info is out of date by about 6 years!!

You'll have a great time there mate, being AI and having no kids is fantastic IMO. There's plenty to keep you entertained within the hotel and lots within walking distance, plus of course there's a regular bus to Paphos, which is nice (though beware the timeshare types, there were quite a few last time we went).

FWIW, I got married in Coral Bay in June.

Lovely place and the food in Coral Bay itself was fantastic.

I can't recommend the place highly enough. Also, it was comparitively empty I'm told due to the stronger Euro and the economic downturn so deals are to be had....
