Morning guys.

I've had a credit card for a couple of years now which I use primarily for holidays and the occasional larger purchase. There about 950 to pay off and I had a thought.

Am I wrong in thinking you can take out a second credit card with 0% interest for a year to pay off the first credit card so I don't have to pay interest?

If so, does anyone have any suggestions on which credit card or of any deals that are on at the moment. (It can't be Barclaycard).

Cheers thumbup

Assuming your credit record is shiny, no reason why not IMHO.
AFAIK Virgin (MBNA) offer a years interest free, with a ~3% fee.

If you have a Quidco or similar account you may even be paid to open a new account smile

Get a 0% interest balance transfer deal. From 'The moneysavingexpert' website at the moment:

The longest 0% period is with sister banks Natwest* and RBS*, which both offer 16 months 0% with a 2.9% fee. To get this deal you must apply online - different, less competitve deals are often offered in branches.
