I've got loads of old r/c planes and helis that i'd like to get shifted, is there a pistonheads.com equivalent in the R/C world on which i could flog this stuff. I'd like to avoid ebay if at all possible.

I've browsed around the tinterweb but a lot of the r/c forums only seem to have a handful of members.

what have you got, and how old is it? Email me a list smile

Best place to get shot is forums - helifreaks, rcgroups etc, but sadly it's moving forward so fast at the moment that anything a couple of years old is mostly redundant!

i buy most of my 1/10 stuff from ebay, list it correctly and it usually fetches a good price

You might want to try www.oople.com/forums for the nitro car. Its predominantly 1/10th offroad but there are some 1/8th posters on there too

Maxbashing.com and Oople are UK based RC car forums and some people sell other stuff like planes and trains etc on these too.

Another place is http://www.rcuniverse.com/index.cfm and is a worldwide forum but has a number of UK members and a big marketplace that may help.

agreed.

I buy and sell via eBay and for rc stuff generally you'll get a fair price.

Thanks to you lot, I'm now going to trawl ebay looking for a new hobby. I've bough stuff and shifted it 3 weeks later 4 or 5 times now.
