We're off camping to Hathersage for a long weekend on Thursday and my brother-in-law and I were planning on doing a bit of riding (XC/trail). Unfortunately his new cyclescheme voucher is yet to arrive, so he is without a decent bike (his current one having come free with a washing machine). Does anyone know somewhere to hire a decent bike (HT or full bouncer) in or around Hathersage? Don't mind travelling a bit as we'll be driving up to Edale to start our ride.

Any suggestion gratefully received, or we'll miss out on this (rare) opportunity!

Cheers

N.

Is your mate the one you mentioned to me earlier who was buying an expensive bike?
If so 18bikes do demo hire for £40 for the day so he can try one or two out
Its not hire though - oh no
Only for potential buyers

18 bikes is a great shop, see if you can get one of their Demo bikes.

Cheers for the steers! I found Trail Monkeys in Bradwell, assuming this is them, I shall call today.

Thanks

Any recommendations on routes, I have a cottage booked for a week in Longnor and will be taking my bike with me?
