There's a road near me called "Darkie Meadow", which while not being patricularly funny I'm surprised hasn't been renamed yet. I did a bit of a search to try to find out the history of how it was named, but just got loads of things like this with people sniggering at the name.

Have we had Wetwang yet? Used to be on BBC Look North's weather forecast map whenever Paul Hudson was on, because he's the honourary mayor (succeeding Richard Whiteley)

My OHs parent live in a village in shropshire call Cockshutt. They have a music festival every year called (you guessed it) cockfest. The first year it ran, it got a lot of internet attention - by all accounts quite a few people turned up and were "let down".

Near where I live in Plymouth, there are villages called Port Wrinkle, and Crafthole (next to each other) and just up on the moors is Crapstone.

Not just that though! There is:

Upper Dicker
Lower Dicker

and if that wasn't enough, just, THE DICKER!

I've always been amused by Lower Slaughter, stterton and Ugley as well.

An area of San Francisco is called "Tender Nob", close to Nob Hill.

It was named by Rik Mayall apparently (I may have made that bit up).

Not at all rude. Near Looe (worth its own entry) in Cornwall is No Man's Land.

'Fingringhoe' in Essex made me chuckle as I drove through on the way to pick up car bits. Could it be in a more appropriate county?
