Removal of Truvativ adapters on Hope bottom bracket
Discussion
I've just bought an XT M770 chainset to replace my worn Truvativ Stylo that came stock on the bike.
The only problem though is I've got a Hope bottom bracket which I don't want to change however it has a Truvativ GXP adapter fixed to one of the bearings to allow for the Stylo crank.
Does anyone have any idea if these can be removed or do I have to buy a new bearing for that side of the bottom bracket? They simply fix to the bearings with a few taps of a hammer but I'm worried the bearings themselves would be damaged when removed.....
