I`ve just sold something fairly pricy and the buyer paid with Paypal and cost me 3.46% eek

3.4% PLUS 20p per transation.... a total wrip off for the vendor...

Maybe but cheaper than getting credit card PDQ machines from a bank. Still the cheapest way to process cards if you are a small business.

I think it's more if the buyer pays with a credit card rather than out od their bank. I try and persuade buyers to pay to my bank and most do. If they kick up a fuss I say I'll reduce the postage charge.
I offer to pay into a sellers bank as well to avoid them paying the charge and only the big sellers say no as the get lower than bank charges.
Private small sellers get well and truly stiffed especially as FleeceBay charges have gone up..
