Baby nursery ideas please
Discussion
I’m about to start painting a nursery for my first little one due at the end of the year.
I have looked on the net for ideas but they all seem to be over complicated and fussy. Anyone have a real word example for me to look at and get some ideas?
Gender neutral for me as we didn’t want to know the sex.
Cheers

We found out we're having a little boy.
The whole room was decorated sky blue.
The missus wanted a pirate "theme" so we bought a pirate cartoon mural, nothing scary, she bought some fabric & made a pirate curtains, to go over the blackout blind & there's little pirate photo frames.
The bedding has been made to match the curtains, cot, wardrobe & chest of drawers are all white from Ikea.

Just painted ours a nice pale green colour as it's gender neutral.
Also, don't get carried away buying things like baby bumpers for cots and cribs as you cant use them as there is a problem with safety.
Basically, the baby could roll over on it's side in the middle of the night and have it's face pinned against the bumper.

Paint it white, buy a load of these:
http://www.supernice.co.uk/section.php/14/re-stik
The Re-Stik ones can simply be peeled off and repositioned as many times as you like and they don't leave any marks or damage. Each animal/object is an individual sticker so you can space them out to fit the dimensions of the wall.
There are also loads of others designed for single application.
Beats applying 8 coats of paint in a doomed attempt to obliterate the ham-fisted rendering of a lion you thought you'd try and paint...

Primary colours...paint each wall a different colour
That's great...if you live in a triangle.Bedding was all primary colours, as was the home-made curtains, rugs and handles.
We also stuck up a sun ray lamp shade, and a few colourful mobiles too.
