Sounds a daft question, but anyone know of a Costco that stocks the ALUMINIUM one? I asked a mate to grab me one and he got the 3-tonne steel one by mistake which weighs the same as my car! Just spoke to my local Costco and they weren't the most useful bunch...

I've a shot I grabbed from here a while back but it's discontinued so the code is no use...

Anyone? I'm based in Manchester.

Costco is a bit random on what they sell. They might always have a trolley jack, but it could be any one of several.

£10. You're comparing with and without VAT prices.

And if you go to one of Machine Marts VAT free days, it'll be £2 cheaper! biggrin

Cheers guys — I'm VAT reg'd so that's not an issue, but it's still £10 dearer... suppose that's the price I have to pay for not manning-up wink

Got one and it really is excellent. Wide super low quick to jack up perfect.

That steel one will last your lifetime no question. I have the alloy one but will never need to jack anything over the 1.8-2tonne limit. Even being alloy it's not that light I'd recon on well over 30kg - being used to 25kg dumbells.

Similar price from your pic as I paid- now just need good axle stands.

Going to have to invest in one of these. I took a punt on a cheapie Halfords one and, while perfectly functional' it turned out to be way too tall to fit under the Caterham. Will measure the sodding thing next time...

I have been using the CostCo Alloy jack for the last few months and it is a quality bit of kit, gets under every lowered car i have tried it with and can raise the car to a good level for getting axle stands underneith.

Well worth the £££ as i to had a halfords one before that was lame in comparision an not a great deal cheaper.

know exactly what you mean but this costco one should be perfect (measure it though incase as I don't have said lovely caterham) it is super wide so stable big "plate" and it's nose part you push under really is super low. For mr a lifetime purchase sure halfords are cheaper but this thing appeared and still does appear to be very good quality

I bought one and posted it on here - maybe I even started the hype. I wish I had 2 now. A week later I saw some guy on ebay selling them for a 25 quid profit. Free enterprise lives.
