Have a lot of problems with the car it starts ok but runs jumpy. I have been told it is the metering block (fuel distributer / regulator)

I am having difficulty finding one any advice greatly received.

Thanks Tony

Can't help directly but these guys are down the road in N Worcestershire and specialize in the R107

Might be worth a phone call as they may know where to source the part.

Ebay. Do a search on "SL breaking". Most used parts dealers are operating on Ebay these days.

Or try Dronsfields, Mercman or Boss Mercedes Parts, all of which turn up on google.

Are you sure about the diagnosis? The fuel metering head is not a cheap part. I assume you have checked the dizzy cap, rotor and leads, the plugs, the vacuum pipes, injector seals and the fuel pump relay?
