US Tourist Visa
Discussion
I am toying with the idea of flying out to Canada for a week or two. All of the flights I have seen involve connecting through the US (usually one or two connections between Edinburgh and Calgary). I know that the US are a little jumpy surrounding visas and the like these days and was wondering if anyone knows whether the visa rules apply to connecting flights?

Unlike most countries you do need a visa if in transit - that is if you need a visa at all. Of course UK citizens don't so you can transit without a visa so long as you qualify for the visa waiver programme. If you don't there is a specific transit visa you can get known as a C1.Gassing Station | Holidays & Travel | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
