... i wear it in the sauna? Popped to the gym today and decided to have a sit in the sauna and steam-room, that is untill i realised my watch (Milgauss) might not like the heat as much as i do biggrin

How about a Planet Ocean? Can that take the sauna/steamroom?

I used to take my old Fossil in the steamroom and it's come out sparkling.

I would check the manual carefully for temperature range recommendations...

In a recent thread a chap mentioned the guy repairing/regulating his watch wears it on his wrist before hand so it's at body temp. If such a subtle change in temperature makes that much difference, i'd imagine a sauna would be risky!

I've regularly worn my Sub in both sauna and steam room. It's never missed a beat and is the most accurate watch I own (apart from a quartz Tag).
Think I'll be taking it off in future having read this thread, it never crossed my mind until now !!

Hi

Can I ask whether you can damage a Zenith Daytona in a similar manner.

I wear mine skydiving - and the change in temp from ground level to 13,000ft can be quite dramatic in the unpressurized planes.

Also, will the jolt of deployment / landing cause problems?

thanks
