Wondered how you got on with the 4200 GT - any thoughts, esp in relation to your 456?

Hi Andrew,
The star of the show is the engine. It's an absolute gem. Pulls like a train and piles on revs like you wouldn't believe. This is a bloody fast car. Lovely V8 burble too.

Wasn't quite so keen on the handling though. It's got masses of grip, but the handling felt remote- it wasn't giving me enough feedback to be confident enough to push. You get loads of feedback in a 456 or a 911, so maybe I'm spoilt. Nevertheless, it covers ground at quite a rate and would give either of the aforementioned a run for their money.

Did I mention that the engine is a gem?

Thanks Kevin - still hankering after buying the 456, and thought the 4200 a worthy alternative.
