I've not looked at the video footage we took yet, but if you email me your addresses, I'd be happy to put whatever footage we got from the day on to DVD-R's for you all (MPEG2 format).

We'll upload some lower quality streaming footage as well.

Julian - any chance of getting some of your footage as that looked like it would be really good?

I meant your postal addresses! Email 'em over to me and once we've pulled some video off the tape, we'll burn the video to DVD-R's.

I had a very good day, just need to learn to drive now.........lol

I've had a look at some of the footage, not too bad, I just need to play with the laptop to see how to get it onto DVD and mpeg.

I can highly recommend Pinnacle Studio Pro (I'm using v8 still, but v9 is available and even better).

Very easy to suck the footage off your tape, edit and produce various formats including DVDs.

You need plenty of diskspace - an hour of video footage will be about 15GB in raw AVI format.
