I am meeting a girl round Waterloo and I was wondering if anyone had any good places to go near by for a drink?

If the sun is out I was thinking of the Bar outside the Royal Festival hall or Gabriels Wharf , else somewhere on Lower Marsh St. but wondering if anyone had any better suggestions?

Cheers!

Andy

Gordon's wine bar? Very popular and a nice setting. Shame most of the wine menu is a bit crap though.

Tattershall Castle if the weather's ok?

At least there's the below decks bars, even if it's not.

Thanks for the recommendations

Went to the terrace bar outside of the Royal Festival Hall in the end, its a good spot there if the sun is shining!

Cheers

And I was thinking a 'Waterloo Bar' was some new confection like a Mars Bar, doh.

The Ring.

Boxing pub opposite Southwark tube.

Also the Baltic vodka bar next door. Lovely.

the Cuban place on the cut. Good fun, if not exactly top quality (drinks and food equally...acceptable, but not great!)

If you do get another date, the bar in Skylon is pretty cool...
