£1963 for a brand new PO.

I'm going for the orange bezel on a metal strap. Now need to decide on the 42 or 45.5mm. They only had the 42mm for me to try and I thought it looked a little small, I only have skinny wrists too?!

Thoughts please.

45.5mm orange on bracelet, here.

I don't have huge wrists - 7.5" - and I think the 45.5 doesn't wear all that big. It certainly goes under a double cuff OK. It's also not as TANGO! in real life as photos would lead one to expect.

Retail is about £2200, so if you're getting £300 off then that's not too bad (although shop around, look serious and you might do better).

Aren't the smaller POs listed as having an RRP of £2380? If you're getting £400 off that doesn't sound bad. As for size, I tried on the smaller of the 2 and thought it to be just right, the larger size lost a bit of it's subtlety IMO, though they both looked pretty handsome

Thanks chaps. They are going to bring in a 45.5mm in for me to try. The 42mm just looked smaller than my Nighthawk, and I think the size of that is just right. Will see how I take to the 45.5mm.

I went for 42mm as it looks good on both metal and rubber. The bigger size looked good on me with the rubber strap but on the metal there was a gap between the watch and my wrist which I didn't like.

No, and he doesn't do caravans with 'Periwinkle blue' scatter cushions either...

Though he is partial to a well cut Covert coat or two.... wink

Okay, have decided that the 45.5mm is the way to go.

Only problem now is I have seen the black bezel with orange numbers and quite like it.

So which do I go for? Orange bezel, or black bezel with orange numbers? And no I can't get both!

I have one for sale - 18 months old. Yours very very cheap - just got a Rolex Sub so am moving the PO on.

45.5, black with steel strap and white numerals. Still under Omega warranty with all papers, box, seals etc etc.

Yours for £1300. Blowers etc asking about £1700 ish.

Have emailed you.

I would bite Soovy's arm off! I went big with the orange bezel and regret it. I'll be getting a black bezel in the future as the orange is just too orange for me.

As the commander says, it's not BRIGHT orange, but it's still pretty bloody orange, and while trying it on in the shop is quite seductive, I've found actually living with it to be a different story!

I think black with white numerals is the pick of the bunch tbh!

(We can talk about my commission later Soovy!!)wink

Interesting thought on the PO... do they do black bezel and orange numerals?

I've got enough "sensible" watches, so could live with being tango'd.

Yep, that combination exists.

But that's for puffs, obviously. And the picture is of a 42mm.

Tango forever!

Hmm... too subtle. I have subtle watches already. Think I'd need the full tango. Orange bezel, orange numbers, orange strap.

Good man. I only went for the steel bracelet on the basis of durability.

Indeed they do, and that's what mine will be like eventually.

I just think the white numerals make it look so much crisper; and also give the option of wearing with a brown strap to completely change the look of the watch...

I have a Breitling Aerospace Ti (bracelet), Breitling Navitimer on a black strap, Omega Railmaster (42mm) on brown strap, Omega Dynamic chrono on a strap and a Tag Carrera (bracelet)... I reckon I could carry off the PO in Orange. smile

Really fancy a Milgauss though...
