The E36 328i Sport Individual I bought a couple of months ago is starting to come together at last, just back from a re-trim and some very minor bodywork

Very nice! I just picked up a 328i sport individual too (aqua metallic & champagne leather) although mine would take a bit of work to have it as tidy as yours!

What are your plans for the car?

Plan is to drive it and enjoy it, mechanically the car is perfect - last two owners spent a lot of money on it, in the last 4000 miles it has had KW Variant 2's fitted, M3 servo, new discs and pads, new clutch, fresh gearbox oil, Rouge engineering rear mounts and adjustable front mounts, Simota induction kit, short shift kit etc etc - no expense spared, I wanted to bring the bodywork and interior up to the same standard.

Only plan is for an Alpina527 325i inlet manifold and BBTB's, maybe late this year, early next year

Managed to speak to BMW GB yesterday who supplied all the build details and I was shocked. List price back in 1998 was £28,150, options came to £4,810 making an invoice price of £32, 960

Looks very nice indeed. I would like one of these as a project/play thing. Quite a lot of car for not a lot of money these days.

LOVE the 328i and that's a really clean one in a great colour.

a year on and i'm still not 100% sure it was worth selling mine to buy an m3. those 328is are such a brilliant all rounder.

Is it Estoril?

Looks really nice, But I HATE these numberplate surrounds people insist on fitting.

What's wrong with a set of TOTALLY plain, standard numberplate's?

Colour is Atlantis Blue - pretty rare on the E36, actually marked as green on the V5.

Wheels are BBS Style 42 RS 724's, 17" x 8.5", genuine BMW branded alloys but I think originally sold on the 5 series

It was one of the most expensive 328i's on the market when I bought it but it was a well known car and had a huge huistory with it, a lot of money had been spent on the mechanics and I must admit it drives fantastically well

They won't be from a 5 series as the wheel offset would mean that they wouldn't fit under the arches of an E36 (5 series wheel offset= ET20, E36 wheel offset= ET41).

These will be the E36 version: http://felgenkatalog.auto-treff.com/ (page 3)

They're nice looking wheels but for Me personally, I prefer the original style 29's fitted to the 328i sport with the hidden wheel nuts, which I think look better than the M3 wheels! (can't really put My finger on why though and they're a pain in the acensoredse to keep in good condition!).

Wheels are such a personal thing, I have two sets of Hartge rims, a set of single piece Design D's and Design D split rims, most people swoon over them, I can't stand them and now only plan to use the single piece rims as winter wheels

All back from the bodyshop, a few tiny rust bubbles sorted, no paint broken as I get things sorted as soon as I notice them. Had a new OE bonnet fitted as old one had a couple of dents in it (hardly noticeable but they drove me potty), also had front bumper repainted to get rid of stone chips

Finally off the winter rims and on to the AVEZ, need to get the tyres re-seated on the Beyern rims as they are losing air

I don't think it looks too bad for a 126k daily driver
