£1,000,000 to spend on a car

You wouldn't be able to afford an F1 with £1,000,000. They're all trading for well above nowadays.
At a stretch I'd go for an F50, a 355 and something wafty like an E38 750iL.
Top quality nineties metal.
Yes I know but there was a GTR that sold a few months ago for £900k, I woulda bought that.At a stretch I'd go for an F50, a 355 and something wafty like an E38 750iL.

Ferrari F50
Ferrari California
Lamborghini Gallardo
Mercedes G55 AMG
Dodge Viper SRT10
Top-spec S2 Exige (with soft-top conversion)
KTM X-Bow
BMW 760i (pre-facelift)
Honda NSX
Nissan GT-R
Caterham R500
Vauxhall VXR8
Jeep Wrangler (new shape, SWB, off-road prepped)
Takes me to pretty much bang on the 1,000,000 mark according to the classifieds (with some sensible second-hand buys of course). I assume we don't need to include insurance or running costs?

Would decide if I had the funds - why dream?
Probably a collection of 10-odd cars, something like that. Nothing too mega expensive
I've always thought that if my numbers came up, I'd have a "base fleet" probably consisting of an Audi RS6 Avant, an old Series III Landy and the most bonkers Caterham known to mankind, probably a 260bhp CSR.Probably a collection of 10-odd cars, something like that. Nothing too mega expensive
Then, I would buy one decent, second-hand example of every car I've ever wanted to drive/own, run it for a couple of months to get it out of my system, sell it on for pretty much what I paid for it and move onto the next.
I'm thinking Alfa SZ, Lancia Delta Integrale, 2.8i Capri, AM Virage V600, Mk2 Escort RS2000, Rocket, Lotus Esprit, etc etc etc...
For me it would be:
Carrera GT
Original Mini (A mint one of course, maybe an original rally spec one)
MINI JCW WC50
Panamera Turbo
Caterham R500 with sequential box
GT2 RS
Ferrari California
And I'd spend the rest on an entry level race car and go racing for a bit, or maybe a rally escort or something like that for a bit of historic rallying.

That'll keep me going nicely
