Sticky Rear Screen

The rear screen on my Chimp has had some kind of sticker removed from the inside, leaving a sticky residue which is a pain to remove.
Any ideas on how to remove easily without scratching perspex?

Petrol on a cloth will do it.

or white spirit. Just dab on, leave for a few mins.
and it should just wipe off with a damp cloth.
This has never done any harm to any previous
perspex screens and gets a lot of other dirt
off too. But remember to put ciggy out first!!.

WD40 on a pad of kitchen roll takes it off & does no harm to the screen.
