That was the worst Bill and Tom era performance I have ever seen from the Pats. Painful to watch.
Indeed - I'm hoping the Pats singularly fail to get their st together by next Sunday….

Very rarely do they play badly 2 games in a row. It's going to be tough in Cinci but "in Bill we trust".

Interesting to see the Raiders have sacked their coach. Given the dismal performance on Sunday (makes it an 0-4 start) I can see why they might do that. I couldn't believe how deflated the crowd got towards the end. Even some American Fans that had come over from California that were sat in front of us who were really vocal at the start had gone quiet.

A few observations from the weekend in general. The fan rally was a bit of a let-down. The last time we were down for a game was the 2011 Buc's vs Bears game and the fan rally's atmosphere was electric. But spread out down Regent street it just didn't have the same feeling, the American style beer and food (Bodeans BBQ for instance) vendors were nowhere to be found instead it was left to the local shops.

The tailgate party (except for Hooters that had a great vibe) was similar a bit spread out with no central stage and closing it off overt two hours before the game kicks was just wrong. There was a lot of annoyed people trying to get into the food court to grab a last minute bite/beer before they went into the stadium.

NFL UK if you are reading this a) put the fan rally back in Trafalgar Square and b) leave the tailgate open for longer – please.
Second time I have been to Wembley to see the NFL, but first time for the tailgate party. Really enjoyed it, but did seem to be a bit spread out in lots of separate areas, but perhaps this is down to the physical space they have around the local area. Lots going but did seem a bit sporadic.

Still enjoyable all the same.

It's at Foxborough Paul, which is why i'm less confident - had it been a Paul Brown that would have put a whole different coat of paint on it.
We could be having a falling-out on Sunday night!

Sorry, brain fade. We've been away 3 out of the first 4 so it had to be at home. It should be a good game. No falling out, light hearted badinage is all. biggrin

It's the morning after the Colts v Pats game where the repartee may get very fiesty in these parts.....

Getting tempted to get Lions v Falcons tickets now. Not a big game, but probably far more evenly matched than the Raiders v Dolphins game.

Your lack of crowing ridicule in my direction is a credit to you - I'd have been giving you all kinds of stick had the result gone the other way.
What can I say? - typical Bengals cave-in when it matters most - I'm used to it - but Gresham last night - what a piss-poor showing.

Thought the Pats cheerleaders were a class act at half-time.

I thought about it. hehe

I'm not crowing too much because we have to play Denver and then come here to Indy over the next few weeks. I'm relieved but not altogether confident that all is fixed. At least we're not the hapless Jets!

Agree about the cheerleaders and Bob Kraft too, a classy guy.

The noise in the Big Slick yesterday was deafening, especially in the second half when the roof was closed. Harbaugh probably wishes he'd kept his mouth shut now as the crowd were really into it after his comments and it definitely affected Flacco on at least a couple of plays. They'll be even louder when it's Brady under center.........

Bit disappointed with the Seahawks performance yesterday against the Cowboys, the only real impact on the game was with our special teams.

Wilson wasn't up to scratch and Lynch (apart from once) could not break the Cowboys defensive line at all.

Hope things improve for next week against the Rams!

Percy Harvin traded to Jets for mid round draft pick.

Anyone expecting this? Anyone? Must have been some serious issues at Seattle.

Not me. Even though the results are lacking, the locker room has been positive, hope we haven't bought another 'me' player like Santonio Holmes was. Who knows, might be the difference, the afc east is not exactly the strongest division, stranger things have happened.

Hey stop that, I can hope.

NFC West is going to be the usual two again, Niners and the 'Hawks. Kaepernick isn't firing on all cylinders yet but after the last display, he's coming back to form.

Harvin doesn't get on with team mates, didn't when he was with the Vikings and didn't at Seattle. They dumped him before he caused any more disfunction. Luckily disfunction is the name of the game in New Jersey so Percy will fit right in!

No idea how much truth there is to the rumors of him battering team mates and so on, but there's been plenty circulating for as long as Percy Harvin has. He's poison to the locker room.
That aside, he'd have cost the hawks a fortune if he stayed to 2018 and he's had some pretty big injuries already. Certainly talented, but then there's no shortage of talent out there that doesn't have the same liability on and off the field.

If he's that stupid to the people who are paying him, he's probably just as stupid off the field. Wonder what the odds are on him getting charged with something, avoiding prison and finishing his career at the Bengals or Ravens hehe

Maybe, however, the Seahawks don't look quite as strong and the Cardinals look better again this year and even without Carson Palmer they just keep winning. Bruce Arians could be a contender for coach of the year.

Great day on NFL, so many nail biter finishes going on.

Packers looked dominant, great to see even if it was against a 'meh' team. Nice to see the bears' run of form continue.
Saw the Colts destroy the Bengals. Not ecstatic as I like both but it was pretty conclusive. Hope it's not the start of a Bengals slump.

Nice to see Peyton taking Favre's record, gives Rodgers something to aim for wink

Cowboys game I'm surprised was as close as it was. They should have walked that one.

Too much other stuff to comment on. Pleased, great day in Indy too biggrin

I think that ship sailed from Foxborough a few weeks ago. wink
