Help needed in injector area

Are the injectors coloured for flow rate ?

Standard 350 seems to be grey - white

450 Manifold has green ones on

and Jag injectors appear to be black

Anyone know any different ?

I know some suppliers sell injectors colour coded for flow rates but try -

My 4 ltr. Hot Wire has green injectors.
I don't think the colour codes are common across manufacturers.
Search under 'injectors' on PH - there's quite a lot of threads.

Quote from a performance engine management system supplier -

The colour of the injectors doesn't really matter! It is important that the injectors used have a sufficiently high flow rate, to enable the correct level of fuel to be supplied. The management chip must also be configured to work with the size of injectors used, otherwise incorrect fuelling and possible engine damage will result. (Please note that there are many different green injectors available, with totally different flow rates, this is another reason why just the colour is not enough!)

If you rummage around the internet looking for 'TR8' you may well find the page that I did once, which lists a lot of Bosch injectors, part numbers, flow rates etc. IIRC it was something to do with the TR owners club of N. America.

If you can't find it, give me a shout. I have a hard copy that I cn scan and email.
