Can anyone please tell me where I can get some of these in Magnolia colour? I keep seeing threads on this subject but nothing seems to come of them.

I've been looking for so long that i'll pay anything for them!!!

Cheers Craig

Hi Craigy,

Let me know how you get on with the Gear lever gaiter. Mine's a bit worn and would like to fit a new one.

I'm in Brighton so if you fancy meeting up some time that'd be cool. Maybe get Walsingham along too.. met him just after I bought mine. Nice bloke and lovely car.

Hope to hear from you..

Regards

Steve.

Hello Steve,

Sorry for the delay, bloody work getting in the way again!

It would be great to meet up with you as I live so close. You missed a fantastic run on Sunday with Walsingham & I. (oh and another 40 or so TVRs)

If you look on this thread at the bit where Alex mentioned a chap called Russell, make sure you give him a ring. He is one of the most helpful guys in the trade! Not only is he making me a bespoke gearlever gaiter in Magnolia leather, but also using patterns from Alex's car far any other bits that I need.
Personally I think he's a bit cheap too, but don't tell him as I've promised to spread the word and to double his turnover for him.....

By the way, thank you Alex for starting all of this as i've been looking for over a year for these parts. Thanks also for the use of your car as a pattern donor.

Cheers Craig

I spoke to Russell at the end of last week and second craigy's opinion of him. He's going to make a new gearstick gaiter for me to match the carpets once I've sent him the appropriate shade of blue from a colour chart.

I'll second that too. It was a really good recommendation, and I can now dispense with the ridiculous idea of trying to make a gaiter myself!

Any chance you can get one for me or let me have his details?

Thanks.

Nasz -use the link I posted above.

I have just got my S2 back from Russell, he has re-carpeted and re-connolised the seats. It looks absolutely fabulous.

The green lether gear gaiter and handbrake gaiter also look superb.

I can recommend Russell 100% and hope you guys will use him. Perhaps Podie would like to add him to useful suppliers on his site.

I will take some pics of the titilated S2 over the weekend and send send them to Podie - overall effect is magnificent.

I am glad Russell is doing well for you all - he is very helpful and a decent chap.
