Have you seen a rolling road test at Austec!!!!!

I went in a week or so ago to talk to them and they were running a test on a Sierra Cosworth, 200Km/h and over 400BHP at the wheels on the dials.....the whole trading estate stopped not knowing what all the noise was about.

Rev, I had seen your car there the previously, it looked great, do i remember correctly that your beast was going on the road.

Yes - it's been on the rollers and is now happily terrorising other road users (Griff's, Chims, Tuscans, Cerbs and Lambo Gallardo's..).

Sounds superb now.

Don't ask me what power it puts out as Aistec still have not give me a print out for it ... bit upset about that as I paid a lot of money to have the work done.

watching a car on the rollers is mad.

When my 400 went on at austec, the noise was loud enough, but when it chucked a flame out of the exhaust on the overrun, i nearly shat'em (i was standing right behind at the time!)

I refused to stand in front or behind, at the side and just behind was my position of choice.

It is really weird watching.... especially when there is a great looking Cobra parked about 5m in front of it.

What would happen if the strap snapped?

Feel lucky yours was strapped down, remember watching my 600kg Lotus 7 stylee kit jumping around at over 100mph in front of me without any form of tie down! Made me nervous but I was still laughing a lot at the flames spat from both the carbs and the exhaust
