Didn't see any of the game, one of the perks of living overseas these days I guess. Just how bad was it? Hopefully Spearing might help us out a bit but from what i've heard Ream is a shocking centre half.

Oh well it was good while it lasted, bye Owen.
Lots of silly tactics this year, Mears starting, Chungy and Petrov on the bench and Mavies getting played as a winger. Roll on the next regime.

The only hope is that we now do administration next week and take the deduction. Bring in a new man with a new squad (big names leave so wage bill plummets) and survival under a boring journeyman manager - McCarthy/McLeish or Dowie. Then build in 2013/4...... gets Gartside out as well.
But he won't - he'll hire someone on 30K a week and continue to pay the wages and then be surprised when they won't sign new contracts but want to go on a free.....
I still stick by 17th ..... and that might be a result

BTW, I am being told Super John McGinlay resigned as coach in Cincinatti on Sunday ? That right ?

Didn't know about McGinlay, could be an outside chance. If we are in for Ole Gunnar i'd take him, seems to have an excellent reputation as a coach and has done pretty well as a manager so far.
Can't say i'm disappointed that Curbishley turned us down.

Ngog is quality, comes on, scores a good goal that is disallowed, gets a penalty that gets them in the game, scores a goal and then decides his job is done and gets himself sent off.

If Spearing didn't think he was the new Beckenbauer, then weKd have won at Boro the week before as well, we really, really should have won that game.
ItKs a win, but we still lose goals ..... We have to get Holden back. (Despite being the better team at Boro Ream was our best player).
I had also forgotten just how poor quality the Championship is .... It's dire.

Bit of a thread revival ahead of the blackburn game tomorrow night, what are people's predictions?
Can we go 4 wins in a row?
Can we sneak the play offs?
Also i have heard we are in for frei and sinclair.

We are still awful. Dawson is the difference - a middling club at best and he's not good enough there... and he's the new Pele at the Reebok. It sort of shows up the 'Premiership class' our large squad thinks it has.
The Division is still awful. Yet we've been scabbing wins (the Hull one was just one of those days where it all went wrong for them and right for us). We don't deserve any playoff spot. We aren't good enough.
Will we beat the Dingles. It comes down to whether or not we decide to deal with Jordan Rhodes properly, or our centre backs bring their ballet shoes rather than their clogging boots.

Do you call Blackburn "Dingles"? Cos that's what they call us (Burnley)
Good luck against the B*****ds, soften them up for this weekend
