What's it worth - Rotary quartz solid 9ct gold case?

I've got a mid-1980s Rotary gold dress watch - quartz, solid 9ct case, champagne face, black strap, all quite discrete. It's not of sentimental value and I wondered if being gold it would be worth anything approaching what I could buy a more modern automatic perhaps like a Hamilton for everyday wear?

both similar to mine (but newer) and seem to be looking for £225-£250 but who knows if the actually sell?
