Saw an 'off' this morning
Discussion
Well, the aftermath of at least. My Mrs was cycling today too, and she had only left a few minutes before me and didn't see it at all, so I must have passed minutes after.
If a car was involved it didn't stop. Chap on the floor with a cut face (wearing helmet) with pedestrians looking after him already. He looked completely spaced out and they were holding his head, bike in a heap to his right.
From what I can make out, he lost it on a 90 degree left hander, at least the position of his bike suggested this, and he ended up on the kerb....hopefully the cut head wasn't from that.
Anyway, it was a little cold and damp today, so be careful out there and get well soon to the chap on the floor in Sheen.....

I have not come off my bike in a year and over 2000 miles of riding, I am convinved most crashes are down to rider incompetance!
p.s I saw your bike this morning, looks shiny
Lucky you. Out riding on a sunny day a few years, making a slow 90 degree turn, the frost on the road which was still covered by a shadow hadn't melted, bike went straight over.I have not come off my bike in a year and over 2000 miles of riding, I am convinved most crashes are down to rider incompetance!
