Best Linux distro for flash based websites?
Discussion
Hi all
to try to avert some of the arguments over who's turn it is to use the PC at home, I've built a new machine out of some spare bits that were lying around (and a whole £10 spent on eBay). I installed Ubuntu initially just to get them up and running, as it's an OS I'm familiar with from my previous scrapheap PC.
I have a slight problem with Ubuntu though, there are some flash based websites that the kids use that don't seem to work too well - Club penguin and Build-a-bearville to be precise.
Do any other Linux distro's have a better flash support than ubuntu? I was considering Mint as I've heard good things about it. Ideally it'll be a simple install, I'm not really interested in command line installs and config if at all possible! Alternatively is there anything I can do to get the flash based sites to run better?

Thanks for these - yes, it seemed that my problem with flash was not caused by the flavour of Linux, it was that I hadn't updated the flash player. I tried to use the Adobe installer, that failed, so found a way of getting the .deb package and installed from the command line.
And, as was also suggested above, my CPU is a bit slow. The hobbyist machine was running on a 1.2Ghz cpu, whereas the spare made out of scrap bits has a 2Ghz CPU. I may need to start munging the bits together to make a decent machine, I think.
