Wanted advert help/ where to buy.

I want to buy a Santos 100 and an 18k Yacht Master, but have always bought used. I want to p/x or sell an 18k Ladies Yacht Master as part of the deal. Would a wanted ad in the Sunday Times or similar help ?
Also, having only worn metal strap Rolex for 25years, and got them wet all the time, would a leather strap on a Santos take getting wet/swimming without falling apart/looking crap ? or do I need the rubber strap ? Is there a metal strap available for the Santos ?
Sorry if its all basic stuff I am asking, but I am not really a watch nut, I have had my present two Rolex for 5 and 25 years, so not a regular trader !!
