All the "toys" have been in storage for nearly 4 years now, untouched and unloved. So I was rather pleased when I got the Traxxas Revo out yesterday, to find that after a quick charge of batteries, a squirt of nitro and pop... of she went! Only very minor issue is that when very hot the engine appears to randomly cut. It will instantly restart no problem and carry on like nothing happened - any thoughts?

Might be worth trying a new gloplug.

Also 4 year old fuel not likely to be that good, unless it was fully sealed - if I remember correctly Nitro pulls in water from the environment and can "go off".

Unfortunately the first two things I thought - new glowplug is already in there, and the fuel was a brand new bottle, still the same!
