If you're planning on travelling half way round the world and plan on taking some pictures with your ND10 filter.
Don't mess about taking your small tripod because it'll make life easier. Just take your biggest and sturdiest of tripods.
What will happen is that the wind will pick up causing the heavy camera on the end of the flimsy tripod to move about ever so slightly leaving you with movement in the things you don't want to move.
Cloud and river movement good, building and bridge movement bad.
I'm so glad I'm back here next month - the big boy tripod will be coming with me on that trip.
