I know this has been covered a lot in many topics, but I have been asked to create a pretty simple website which offers a basic introduction to a company, with the main focus being an online catalogue, showing pictures, with a pop-up window showing more information, with file download.

What is best to use? I appreciate the whole paying for design vs doing it yourself argument, so I'm not looking to get into that right now!

"Mr Site" was recommended to my OH by a friend who is just starting a web based business and she has little computer based skills, if you can do powerpoint then you can do this. Hosting & online email available as well.

Why not use a CMS that offers a fairly good range of templates that are very easy to customise.

And by using a CMS you also benefit from easy updates (something end users can do too).
